Walter Dean Honeycutt

Walter Dean Honeycutt, age 63 of Burnsville, passed away Friday, January 1st, 2021 at Smoky Ridge Health & Rehabilitation. He was a son of the late Jack and Emma Lou Chrisawn Honeycutt. He was also preceded in death by eight brothers, one sister and a nephew, Marvin Honeycutt.

Surviving is two sons; Kassie Honeycutt and Stacey Honeycutt; brother, Jackie Honeycutt, all of Asheville, NC; and sister-in-law, Rita Honeycutt of Burnsville.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 3rd in the Academy Hill Cemetery. Reverend Dwight Boone will officiate. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Smoky Ridge for their loving care of Walter for over 20 years.
