Russell Clark Palm

Russell Clark Palm, age 76 of Burnsville, went Home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2023. He was born on August 21, 1947, to the late Raymond and Betty Phillips Palm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Palm and Bobby Keeley.

Russ was an outdoorsman through and through. He took great care of his 4 acres of land. He gardened, cut wood, and made improvements to his property. He loved to feed the birds, turkeys and deer that often visited the home. Russ was a quiet man and could often be found tinkering in his woodshop or wandering the land. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. Russ was a brave man. He served our country in the Army, where he received two purple hearts from his time in Vietnam. He fought for what he thought was right, and in the end, that’s what took his life.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Yolanda Palm; sons: Rusty Palm, Chris Palm, and Travis Palm; daughter, Amy Headley; stepson, William Mertz; brother, David Palm; grandchildren: Ashley, Brittany, Riley, Carter, and Adam.
