Obituary

Rodney Gene Laws, age 43 of Spruce Pine, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 5, 2022. A resident of Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Rassie and Linda Laws.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jacob Laws of Burnsville; brother, Randy Laws of Erwin, TN; and grandmother, Virginia Buchanan of Burnsville.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the Double Island Baptist Church Cemetery in Burnsville. Reverend Ricky Woody will officiate.
