Obituary
Matthew Edward Baker, age 34 of Asheville, went Home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2023. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Jerry Edward Baker. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Eugene Baker, as well as maternal grandparents, Bobby and Carolyn Honeycutt.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother and stepfather, Belinda (Kenneth) Lynn Honeycutt Teague; paternal grandmother, Lillian Baker; stepsister, Amanda (Thomas) Teague Roach; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Riverside Baptist Church at 871 Riverside Drive in Asheville, NC 28804. Dr. Jason Scott Owens will be officiating.
