Marsha Tipton

Marsha Tipton, 72, of Patterson Branch, passed way Saturday June 20, 2020 at her home. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Mary Fox Tipton. She was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Doreen; a sister, Mildred Tipton Hensley; and a brother, Brown Tipton. Marsha was a retired employee of Yancey County Schools with 30 years of service at Clearmont School.

Surviving are her son, Eddie Tipton; brother, Gene Tipton and wife Christine; granddaughter, Madison Tipton; sister-in-law, Jodie Tipton; brother-in-law, Rev. Cecil Hensley all of Burnsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 in Howell Cemetery on Patterson Branch.
