Madge (Dale) Davis

Madge Dale Davis, age 95 of Spruce Pine, passed away Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 at her home. A native of Yancey County, she is the daughter of the late Wesley and Missouri Buchanan Dale. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Davis.

She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Baxter Healthcare.

Surviving is her son, Richard Davis (Evelyn); daughter, Jean Burress (Hilliard), both of Spruce Pine; grandchildren: Malissa Burleson (Doug), Misty Sparks (J.R.) and Charlie Davis (Jamie); great–grandchildren: Kaitlyn Sparks, Cole Sparks, Savanah Burleson and Barrett Davis.

Services will be held Saturday, June 12th at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church at 5 p.m. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior to service time. Reverends GE Freeman and Brent Frady will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Blue Ridge at 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
