Louise Laws Landress, age 75 of the Newdale community, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021. She was a daughter of the late Carmon and Malinda Freeman Laws. She was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Jewell Yvonne Laws; sisters: Joyce Laws Pate and Jean Laws Harris; and grandson, Joshua Brown.
Louise was a retired employee of Glen Raven Mills in Burnsville. She was a member of West Burnsville Church of God. Louise took great delight in her home with the grounds and her Christmas lights, she set an example for those around her by living for the Lord.
Surviving is her husband of 27 years, Terry Landress; children: Marla Robinson and husband Josh, Pam Fox and husband Terry, Colby Deyton, Colton Landress and wife Danielle, Scott Jones and wife Amy, and Tonya Elnaggar; brother, Bruce Laws and wife Juanita; sister, Mozelle Penland; all of Burnsville. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 6th at 2 p.m. in the West Burnsville Church of God. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 1 p.m. until service time. Reverend Randall Phillips will officiate. Services will be live streamed; it will be available for viewing at www.westburnsvillechurchofgod.com or from their Facebook page.
