John Wesley Bryant

John Wesley Bryant, 72, of the Little Creek Community, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, at Mission Hospital.  A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Rexter and Zona Bell Haney Bryant.  He was the husband of the late Greta Bryant.  He was also preceded in death by brothers: Lyda and wife, Peggy, Charles and wife, Virginia, and Martin Bryant; and sister-in-law:  Wanda Bryant..   John was a retired mechanic.

Surviving are 2 brothers:  RC Bryant of Burnsville and Oakland Bryant and wife, Ester, of Morganton;  a sister-in-law: Louise Bryant of New Smyrna Beach, FL.  Several neices, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 PM Monday, December 9, 2019, in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.  Rev. Raymond Phillips will officiate. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.   Burial will be in the Lewis Cemetery on Little Creek at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
