Jimmy Watts Obituary

Jimmy Larry Watts, age 75, of Burnsville, passed away on Friday, July 10th, 2020. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of the late Arnold and Deamie Tipton Watts.

Jimmy was a former Chief of Egypt-Ramseytown Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was also a member of Landmark Baptist Church.

Surviving is his loving wife of 18 years, Alice Ramsey Watts; son, Anthony Watts and wife, Amanda; brother, Jackie Watts and his wife Maria; special friends: Kenneth and Esther Williams and Dennis Tipton; four grandchildren: Isaiah, Abi, Max and Ivy Watts. Numerous cousins and friends also survive. Preceded in death is his first wife, Donna Hensley Watts.

Private Family Services will be held.
