Faith (Pearson) Autrey

Faith Pearson Autrey, age 98 of Burnsville, went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was born on June 8, 1924, to the late Harold and Dorris Williams Pearson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jeter Autrey; as well as brothers: Harold Pearson Jr., Jimmy Pearson, Kenny Pearson, Bobby Pearson, David Pearson, and Johnny Pearson; sisters: Dot Gillian, Lillian Shell, June Collins, Alice Nelson, and Edythe Madden.  

Faith was a loving mother, and a devoted Christian. She was a prayer warrior and member of Mt. Celo Church for 40 years. Faith felt led to minister and share the gospel with anyone she met. She wanted people to know her Jesus just like she did. She loved her family “dearly” as she would say, and she will truly be missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Freida (Max) Autrey Ballew; brother, Butch Pearson; sisters: Charlotte (Bob) Dominick, Arlene (Donnie) Davis, and Sharon Brownlee; five grandchildren: Aimee Hall, Emily (Chris) McMahan, Travis (Kim) Ballew, Aleisha (Michael) Silvers, and Dustin (Jenny) Ballew; twelve great-grandchildren: Dillon, Tyler, Brandon, Joshua, Abigail, Savannah, Gabriel, Timothy, Gracie, Kyvie Micaiah, and Audrey; as well as six great-great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Patton Cemetery in Burnsville. Brother in Christ, Barry Passmore will officiate.
