Eula (Snider) Hughes

Eula Snider Hughes, age 92, of Green Mountain, went home on Friday July 24th, 2020.

A native of Yancey County, Eula was a homemaker and a family woman. She enjoyed the small things in life, like crossword puzzles and singing. She will be dearly missed by those who were lucky enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hughes and also a daughter, Loretta, who was her pride and joy.

Surviving are sister-in-law, Marie Presnell and several special nieces and nephews.

Eula will be buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Burnsville, NC and private family services will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation for her care during her last days.
