Donna Lee (Gill) McKinney

Donna Gill McKinney, age 74 of Meadowview, VA, went Home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2023. She was born on October 22, 1948, to the late Norman and Sylvia Tice Gill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel McKinney; brothers: Evan Gill, Ronnie Gill, and James Gill; and sister, Shirley Daisy.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mark McKinney; daughter, April McKinney; sisters-in-law: Helen Murphy, Helen Gill, Beverly McKinney, and Phyllis McKinney; brother-in-law Eugene McKinney; grandchild, Cheyenne McKinney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin with visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home, with a graveside service following in the Rueben McKinney Cemetery in Green Mountain, NC. Reverend Tommy Murphy will be officiating.

The family requests that memorial donations be made out to Gideons International at 344 Tumbling Brook Dr, Banner Elk, NC 28604.
