Diane Claire (Bibeau) Dover

Diane Claire (Bibeau) Dover, age 81 of Burnsville, NC, went Home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2023. She was born on November 5, 1941, to the late Albert J. and Claire E. (Cabana) Bibeau. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her two older brothers, Albert J. Bibeau, Jr and Robert A. Bibeau. 

Diane was born in Gardner, MA, moved to Boca Raton, FL as a teenager and later settled in DeLand, FL. She met and married the love of her life, John L Dover on September 5, 1989. After retiring from Volusia County School Board, in 1997, she and John built their dream retirement home in Burnsville, NC. Diane was a member of the Eastern Star and the Liberty Covenant Church in Micaville, NC.  In her free time, she enjoyed Bible study and sharing God’s Word with others.  She was also very crafty, and loved sewing, quilting and crocheting gifts for family and friends.  She especially loved traveling with John, they visited 49 of the 50 states, crossing the country 4 times and many cruises where they visited countries all over the world. 

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband John, one son, Jay Pagliaro; two daughters, Amy Pagliaro and Tina Thomas and her husband Scott; two grandchildren, Caleigh Theriault and her husband David, Cody Rhew and his wife Maggie; two great-grandsons, Tripp Theriault and Casey Rhew; two sisters Jane Grove and her husband David, and Lynn Emerson and her husband Anthony. Two sisters-in-law, Rose Bibeau and Jane Bibeau; and a slew of other nieces and nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 18, 2023, at Liberty Covenant Church in Micaville, NC.
