Cynthia Freeman Obituary

Cynthia Elaine Freeman, age 73 of Burnsville, passed away Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at Brian Center in Spruce Pine. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Harley and Eileen Riddle Whitson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R.V. Freeman, in 2004.

Surviving are her daughters: Renea Owens and husband James of Burnsville and Rachel Freeman and wife Jolene Matson of Chicago.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, January 28th at 2 p.m. in the Allen Cemetery in Burnsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Holcombe Brothers to help with funeral expenses.

Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Freeman family.

*Due to inclement weather, services will be held in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers at 2 p.m.*
