Charles Ray Chrisawn

Charles Ray Chrisawn, age 74 of Burnsville, passed away Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at Mission Hospital in Asheville. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Maude Hughes Chrisawn. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Anita Chrisawn, in 2020; and grandson, Aaron Briggs.

Surviving is his sons, Tommy Ray Chrisawn (Tammie) and Michael Charles Chrisawn; daughter, Anita Briggs Buchanan (Steve); five grandchildren: Alicia Briggs, Amber Nunes, Caitlyn and Darin Chrisawn, and Harley Bennett; two great-grandchildren: Matthew and Braxton Nunes.

Services will be held Saturday, June 26th at South Estatoe Baptist Church at 4 p.m. for friends and family to gather.
