Ricky Bryant

Ricky Bryant, 48, of Green Mountain, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at his home, following a long illness.  A native of Yancey County, he was a son of Louise Hopson Bryant of Green Mountain and the late Martin Bryant. He was a child of God who loved everybody and everyone loved him.  Ricky loved fishing, his motorcycle and working with young people.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his grandmother; Vaughtie Roberts of Green Mountain; daughters: Felisha and Tekisha Bryant both of Tennessee; a son: Dakota Buchanan of Burnsville; his former wife and mother of his son; Stacey Buchanan Boone of Burnsville, 2 granddaughters: one of the home: Lila Mackenzie Bryant and four special cousins: Jessica Taylor, Mikhayla Letterman, Della Woody and Brian Miller.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, March 9, 2020 in the Loss Hopson Family Cemetery on Hopson Heritage Lane.

Memorials may be made to Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
