Michael Scott Moore

Michael Scott Moore, 60, of Burnsville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020, at Care Partners Solace in Asheville.  Mike was a former nurse at Mission Hospital in the ER for 10 years, where he met his former wife Marlene. Together they had two beautiful children.

He was a local handyman working alongside his father servicing appliances in and around Burnsville.  He loved to garden and used his fresh produce in his cooking.

He is survived by his two wonderful parents: Helene and Scotty Moore of Burnsville; his two children:  Justin Moore and Paige Coker and husband, Ryan, who together gave Mike his grandchildren:  Liam and Raiden Coker.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday February 19, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burnsville.   Inurnment will follow at the McIntosh Cemetery.
