Mary Elizabeth (Hilliard) Wyatt

Elizabeth Hilliard Wyatt, 87, of Micaville, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 23, 2020.  A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Ruby Hall Hilliard.  She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Lawrence and Bill Hilliard.  Elizabeth was a charter member of Morning Star Baptist Church.  She enjoyed baking, quilting and fishing.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to Cades Cove.

Surviving are her husband of 68 years:  Brown Wyatt; a daughter:  Toni Smith and husband, Jackie, of Seneca, SC; son:  Ronnie Wyatt of Micaville; 2 grandchildren:  Cristal and Bradley Smith; great grandchildren; Ryan Smith, Haley Smith and Kyle Lewis; and numerous church family, friends and neighbors.

Burial will be in the Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery.

Due to current circumstances the family will hold Memorial Services at a later date.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, especially for the many prayers.
