Mae (Kincheloe) Self

Mae Kincheloe Self, 90, of White Oak Creek, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at Smoky Ridge Health & Rehabilitation.  A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Flave and Mary Wilson Kincheloe.  She was the wife of Claude Self who died in 1975.  She was also preceded in death by a son:  David Self; brother:  Woodrow Kincheloe; and a sister:  Vernie Harris.  Mae was a good Christian woman.

Surviving are 2 daughters:  Sadie Duvois and husband, Chuck, and Lois Webb and husband, Lee, of Burnsville; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and, 2 great, great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM Friday in the Autrey Cemetery at South Estatoe Baptist Church.  Rev. Bobby Silvers will officiate.
