Lora Elizabeth Adkins

Lora Adkins, 97, formerly of Burnsville, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Chatsworth, GA.  A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Park and Rovie Honeycutt Adkins. She was also preceded in death by sisters: Mildred Franklin and Wilma Higginbotham and a brother: Reece Adkins.

Surviving are nephews: Jim Franklin, Johnny Adkins, Jerry Adkins and Warren Adkins, numerous great nieces and nephews and a special cousin: Mary Lo Silvers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday in the chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.  Rev. Ricky Ray will officiate.  Burial will be in West Burnsville Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
