James Earl "Jamie" Ramsey

James Earl “Jamie” Ramsey, 49, of Asheville, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, at his residence.  A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of Tate Ramsey of Asheville and the late Earline Hilemon Ramsey.

Surviving, in addition to his father, is a son:  Jayden Tate Ramsey; a sister:  Pamela Nolan; a nephew:  Jimmy Christopher; and a great nephew:  Tate Christopher, all of Leicester.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.  Rev. Chip Plemmons will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Jim Edwards Cemetery on Lankford Branch Road.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
