Faye Etta (Whitson) Fox

Faye Etta Whitson Fox, 87, of Burnsville, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the home of her son in Nebo.  A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Cornelia Atkins Whitson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband:  Ben Lee Fox; and, brothers:  Niram, Clayton, Howard, Max, Lawrence, Raymond and Hugh Whitson.

Left to cherish her memory are her son:  Jeff Ben Fox and wife, Teena; grandchildren:  Brandi Leigh Gilliland (Kyle), James Cody Fox (Darsey), Jayme Brooke Maier (Cole); great grandchildren:  Collin, Sadie, Jaycie, Parker, Clara, Sawyer and Whitson.  A few special people in her life were Amy Fox Johnson, Max and Crystal Fox, Jeannette Fox, Judy McCurry and Jeannie Chrisawn.  She also had several nieces and nephews that she was very fond of and many dear friends.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019, at West Burnsville Baptist Church Cemetery.
