Christopher Jason Johnson

Christopher J. Johnson, 46, of Burnsville, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Mission Hospital.  He was a son of the late Tracy Jameson.  Christopher was a former paramedic with Avery County EMS and a current employee of ALTEC.

Surviving are his wife:  Angela Buckner Johnson; children:  Trysten Johnson of Burnsville, now stationed at Ft. Sill, OK, Hallie Brittingham, Nicolas Johnson and Adalyn Johnson of the home, and Maegan Blackburn of Tallahassee, FL; sister:  Desiree Jameson Haskell and husband, Harry, of Travelers Rest, SC; brother:  Will Strunk and wife, Morgan, of Nappanee, IN; and, a grandson:  Ayden Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.  Pastor Jim Bo Seaton will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
